It all started as an idea, much like any idea that sounds good. But the climate wasn't right, and ICANN kept fiddling around, not sure of it's place in the grand scheme of things, but the idea didn't fizzle - it grew.

Now New York City and even former Mayor Ed Koch has jumped on the bandwagon with a new video promo for the .NYC TLD...

The Top Level Domain Association, Inc. is a trade association of Internet Top Level Domain (TLD) holders.

This organization represents the interests of TLD Holders and fosters cooperation among them to insure a stable, Inclusive Name Space.

All TLD holders are welcome to be members of the TLDA.
