TLDA Member Luke Weyrauch has launched his registry's sunrise period for SLD pre-registrations under his .ARTIST, .HOMES, .SELL, .TEAM, .VIDEOS, and .WIKI TLDs at www.serointl.com...
The sunrise period is aimed at conforming to ICANN recommendations which allow for Intelectual Property Owners to claim strings that would otherwise be available on an FCFS basis, as Luke's TLDs are generic (gTLDs) in nature.
Luke's Sero Registry operates an EPP compliant regsitry based in part on Cocca and Fred technologies, both are Open Source free software which you can download and have up and running in no time from our TLDA weblinks directory here at the TLDA website.
The TLDs have been live since 2007, and Luke just recently finished up retooling and migrating his regsitration services to the Open Source ports in the last few months.
Although at this time the SLDs at the Sero Registry are only available for pre-regsitration as per the terms of Luke's Sunrise period, we wish and expect all the best for him and his Sero Registry in their bid to be included in ICANN's legacy root system.
Since Sero is operating a shared registry system (SRS), interested domain registration service providers can offer Luke's TLDs as well through their own online service centers. Information on these opportunities can be found HERE.
